Located in the green hills of the Ozark Mountains in Northwest Arkansas, WordCamp Fayetteville is in its fifth year. WordCamp Fayetteville 2015 will take place on the University of Arkansas campus, near downtown Fayetteville so you can enjoy the Farmers Market in the morning and Dickson Street’s clubs at night.
We have five tracks to attend this year: WordPress 101, Blogging, Developer, Designer, and Business. We’re scouring the area for the best speakers, so you’ll gain new knowledge to move you forward in your career while you meet others in your field.
We’ll kick off WordCamp Fayetteville Friday, July 31st, with a Meet and Greet with speakers and attendees, early registration, and an orientation on what to expect. Saturday will be a day full of sessions and a keynote address from Josepha Haden from Automattic giving us the latest innovations and information about WordPress. Sunday will be an implementation Jam Session where speakers, enthusiasts, and WordPress users will be available to help attendees at The New Design School off of the UofA Campus.
If you live in Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Tennessee, or Louisiana, you may be surprised to find that your nearest WordCamp is in Arkansas, but it might be. Come for a great weekend of learning and networking, squeeze in a visit to the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art or the Buffalo National River, and head back home refreshed and inspired.
